太湖山景区位于含山县南部，东近长江，西邻巢湖，是省城合肥通往江南的一道绿色屏障。这里山峦起伏，森林茂密，山青水秀，景色宜人。1992年林业部将太湖山确立为国家森林公园。太湖山风景区主要景点包括波光潋滟的月亮湖，妙趣天成的奇石异洞，香火兴盛的太湖寺庙，以及太湖山鹿苑。导视设计上以质朴简约风格为主，与自然环境和谐共生。
