中共南京市委党校的前身为市委党训班，成立于1949年7月。根据党校的特殊属性，确立了以“风格相继、现代活力、经济适用”的总体设计方向，以简约、大气、雅致的设计表现风格来进行诠释，厚重的色彩结合三原色的活力，既体现南京市委党校的属性，又展现校区政治亲民、学风浓厚的发展特色。

Nanjing municipal Party School of the Communist Party of China, formerly known as the Party training class of the municipal Party committee, was founded in July 1949. According to the special attributes of the Party school, the overall design direction of "style succession, modern vitality and economic applicability" is established, and the simple, atmospheric and elegant design performance style is used for interpretation. The combination of heavy colors and the vitality of the three primary colors not only reflects the ownership of the party School of Nanjing Municipal Committee, but also shows the development characteristics of the school district's political affinity and strong style of study.
